LP Can Win one or two seats here and there, but never a contender for the presidency- Sam Amadi

Political analyst Sam Amadi thinks that maintaining Peter Obi's support and resolving internal conflicts are critical to the Labour Party's prospects in the 2027 elections. If the party can work out its internal conflicts, success might be in store.

However, the party's chances of winning the presidency are significantly reduced if internal strife persists, is exacerbated by personal ambitions, and if Peter Obi departs. Amadi claims the party is unsuitable to hold the presidency and has no prospect of obtaining any parliamentary seats without significant reforms.

In an interview with The Sun News, Sam Amadi said that if Peter Obi stayed and the issue was settled, the Labour Party would have a realistic chance of winning in 2027. But if the argument gets out of hand and Peter Obi leaves, the celebration is ruined.

It might occasionally pick up a few seats, but it will never be a strong candidate for president. In other words, when it comes to the presidential election, labour is all about Peter Obi.
