How An Alhaji In Ilorin Told Me He Exhumed The Body Of A Cousin And Removed The Heart-Enoch Adeboye

In a recent video on YouTube, Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God shared an inspiring message about the perfection of God's works, particularly in the context of salvation and forgiveness. He emphasized that everything God does is done perfectly, including saving souls and forgiving sins.

He recounted the story of an Alhaji from Ilorin who experienced this perfect forgiveness. The Alhaji, after converting to Christianity, expressed doubts about whether Jesus could forgive his past sins. Pastor Adeboye reassured him that Jesus' blood cleanses from all sins, no matter how grave.

Pastor Adeboye turned to 1 John 1:7 and showed the Alhaji where it is written, "the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin." He asked the Alhaji what the meaning of "all" was. The Alhaji responded, "All means all. All means without exception." From that moment, the Alhaji was filled with joy and assurance of his forgiveness, rejoicing in the Lord and committing to His will.

According to him, "Everything he does, he does it perfectly. When he decides to save your soul, he does it perfectly. 1 John 1:7. It doesn't matter how bad you have been, it doesn't matter how far gone in the world you had been, when you give your life to him, he saves perfectly. If the salvation comes from him, it is perfect. When he is forgiving you, he will forgive everything you have ever done. Which reminds me of one Alhaji in Ilorin."

"He gave his life to Jesus Christ and went home rejoicing. But after some days, he came back and said, "ha! I'm not sure Jesus can forgive all I've done." I said, ah but, his blood cleanses from all sins. Ehhnn, he said, "Pastor, you don't know how bad I've been," and he began to tell all manners of horrible things he had done. I said, the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sins. Ah okay, he went home rejoicing. He kept coming and going. Finally, he said alright, this last one: if Jesus can forgive this one, I won't worry myself again."

He said, when he wanted to make a charm and he needed the heart of a man to make the charm, he waited till a cousin died and they buried the child. Then at night he went and exhumed the body, cut it open, removed the heart and used it to make the charm from which he has gotten a lot of money. He said, do you believe Jesus can forgive that?

"Fortunately he can read, so I opened to him 1 John 1:7 where it is written, "the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin." I said, what is the meaning of "all"? He said, all means all. All means without exception. From that day onward, he kept on rejoicing in the Lord, praising him, doing his will."
