The final game in the English Premier League today saw Manchester City travel to face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground Stadium. The Citizens were without any doubt the clear favourites to win this match as they needed all the important points to continue their fight for the Premier League title this season.

Manchester City broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute of the match as Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring with a fine header to make the scoreline 1-0. Nottingham Forest could have easily got the equalizer in the first half of this game but Chris Wood's awful finishing in front of goal let the team down by making Manchester City carry their slim advantage into the halftime break.

Super-sub Erling Braut Haaland came off the bench as he doubled Manchester City's lead in the 71st minute of the game courtesy of his fine finish to make the scoreline 2-0. The scoreline remained unchanged as Manchester City bagged a comfortable 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest at full-time.

Arsenal on the other hand went on with their winning mentality in the competition when they visited Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Gunners put up an amazing performance in the match as they secured a slim 3-2 victory over Spurs thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Own Goal).
