Man United prioritizing move for Olise
Manchester United are reportedly prioritizing a summer deal for Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise over PSV Eindhoven forward Johan Bakayoko. The attacker's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Manchester City and Chelsea both believed to be keen to sign the France Under-21s international this summer. Man United have also been linked with his services, and according to Fussball News, the 20-time English champions are planning to move for him at the end of the campaign. The report claims that Bakayoko is also admired by Erik ten Hag's side, but Olise is seen as the main target, with Man United's minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe believing that he would be a better fit for the team.
Giroud verbally agrees move to join LAFC
AC Milan striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join MLS powerhouses Los Angeles FC, according to Fabrizio Romano. The World Cup winner seemingly has no intention of hanging up his boots just yet, though, and a move to North America has been touted should he call time on his career in European football. A proposed switch to the United States is now said to be inching ever closer, as journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Los Angeles FC and Giroud have reached a verbal pact over a transfer, five months on from when the Black and Gold first registered their interest.
Arsenal ‘offer’ £51m for Diamonde
According to the Record, via Sport Witness , Arsenal want to sign Sporting Lisbon defender Ousmane Diamonde in the summer and have ‘offered’ £51m for the African star. The newspaper claims Mikel Arteta has put in a transfer request to the club; he wants his project bolstered with a top centre back this summer. The Spaniard, who has been lucky not to have lost any of his central defenders to injury this season, must have realised how thin his defensive options are. And so to meet this ‘transfer request’, Record claims Arsenal have set their sights on Ousmane Diamonde — a 20-year-old defensive prodigy from Sporting Lisbon.
Man United offer €90m to sign Frenkie De Jong
It has been reported that Manchester United have increased their offer for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong ahead of the summer transfer window. The Netherlands international and the Red Devils have already been linked on many occasions. According to El Nacional, Man United made Barcelona an offer of €90 million for de Jong. El Nacional claims that De Jong, who was before seen as essential, is now one of the players that might leave, which would be a significant development for the Catalan giants.
