In a recent post on his official Facebook page, renowned gospel actor and evangelist Mike Bamiloye issued a stern warning to pastors who resort to cursing individuals who leave their congregations.

Bamiloye passionately urged pastors to reconsider their reactions to members departing their churches. "If you have the word of life in your mouth and the call of God upon your life, no human being can devalue your calling and ministry, if you are standing right in His presence," he declared.

He stressed that a ministry rooted in God's calling should not be shaken by the departure of associates or members.

The evangelist pointed out that pastors who fear their ministries will collapse when a trusted associate leaves are placing undue reliance on human strength rather than divine power.

He illustrated this with vivid metaphors: "Dry leaves must drop that new leaves must spring forth. Old branches must break off to give room for growing branches to stretch forth."

Bamiloye criticized pastors who react with curses, suggesting this behavior indicates a lack of the true word of life and divine calling. "Some Pastors would rain curses upon anyone who leaves their church, It shows they lack the Word of life and do not carry the calling and the anointing that makes the Ministry works."

He questioned, "Why must you curse people who leave your ministry? And why must you be pampering them so that they will not leave your church?"

He condemned the practice of pastors becoming subservient to retain members, describing it as insecurity. "You are so insecure and always afraid that they will leave the church and leave you empty one day... that can never be the will of God for you," Bamiloye emphasized.

Drawing from biblical scripture, Bamiloye encouraged pastors to be strong and courageous in their ministry. He cited Joshua 1:7, where God commands Joshua to be strong and very courageous, emphasizing the importance of steadfast faith and adherence to God's law.
