Prophet Joshua Iginla, renowned for his candid teachings, has issued a stark warning against what he terms an "Entitlement Mentality" in a recent video on Facebook.
Founder and senior pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, Iginla condemned the attitude of expecting unearned rewards and becoming agitated when desires are unmet.
In his impassioned message, Iginla reflected on his own upbringing and the dangers of entitlement. "I don't know whether it is a spontaneous behavior for that day but when you are angry, close your mouth," he advised, highlighting the importance of restraint in moments of frustration.
He questioned the basis of entitlement, challenging individuals to consider why they feel deserving of others' possessions. "Why fight people over their money, over what they labored for that you did not know how they got it?" he questioned.
Iginla characterized entitlement mentality as akin to "high class level in witchcraft," equating it with a destructive force that sows discord and bitterness.
"Every time your loyalty is tied to your belly, you are worse than Judas," Iginla added, referencing the betrayal of Jesus by Judas Iscariot for thirty pieces of silver. He emphasized the moral imperative of earning through labor and respecting others' property rights.
He reminded believers to reevaluate attitudes towards wealth and entitlement, advocating for humility and diligence over expectation and resentment.
