Ondo NYSC collaborates with security agencies to protect corps members.

The NYSC state coordinator, Sam Pepple, addressed journalists in Akure, highlighting the NYSC's partnership with various security agencies to safeguard corps members in response to recent attacks. Collaborating with the police, State Security Services, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, and Amotekun, they are working on establishing secure routes for the corps members' protection.

Pepple also emphasized the urgent need for renovating the outdated orientation camp in Akoko, underscoring the necessity for modern facilities to ensure a conducive environment for corps members. He called upon the state government to provide support for this renovation initiative.

Additionally, Pepple discussed the upcoming orientation program for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream corps members and stressed the significance of adhering to the guidelines and regulations set forth by the NYSC during their service. By focusing on enhancing security measures and facilities, the NYSC aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for corps members in Ondo State.
