President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos state and national leader of the All Progressives Congress clocked a year in office on the 29th of May, 2024. His administration has received a lot of commendations and condemnations from many Nigerians across the country.

Chief Edwin Clark said; "I told him when they were doing June 12 that there’s nothing to celebrate. What did Buhari’s government ever produce? And then because you are APC and you will continue with his programme, with his policy, then you will find it difficult."

He added; "So as far as I’m concerned, it will not be difficult for the President to correct some of the numerous mistakes or misadministration of Buhari. So I am saying that, for me, I won’t assess him. He has a lot he is doing now. For instance, I will comment on only one thing, this issue of oil subsidy."

He stated further; "When Jonathan removed it on January 1, 2012, it was the same Tinubu, Atiku and others that were dancing, kicking against Jonathan and wanted Jonathan’s administration to come down"

The recent statement by the Ijaw leader and leader of the Southern and Middle-Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF), Edwin Clark which was shared by The Sun on its various social media platforms have generated a lot of reactions from many Nigerians on the social media platform.
