Reactions As Obi Visits Victims Of Fire Incident In Anambra After Leaving An Event In Imo State

There have been several reactions from social media users after the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi visited victims of fire incident in Anambra state.

The announcement was made on his official X handle on Thursday. According to Peter Obi, he visited the scene of the incident in Anambra state after he left an event in Imo state.

In the post that Peter Obi made on his page, he said he went to commiserate with victims of the fire accident that occured in the Nnobi community area of Anambra state. Peter Obi also revealed that no life was lost during the course of the fire incident.

"After witnessing the installation of a new Catholic Bishop in Mbaise in Imo State today, I travelled to Nnobi Community in Anambra State, to commiserate with the victims of the fire incident that occurred at Afor market in the town. A fire incident was reported at Afor Nnobi Market, yesterday, where some shops housing goods worth millions of naira were destroyed. Thankfully, no life was reportedly lost, but one can only imagine the present trauma of the victims of the fire incident in the face of the harsh economic realities in the nation".
