Oseni Rufai, a prominent journalist with Arise TV, recently shared his thoughts on the current political climate in Rivers State via his official X account.
The governor has decided to transfer some of Wike's supporters from important positions in his cabinet as the feud between him and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has heated up.
The decision has intensified the disintegration of the Peace Accord that was first negotiated in Abuja and has caused commissioners from Fubara's cabinet to leave.
"I am sure Fubara has learnt that it is useless trying to make peace with some people. We told him before," Rufai wrote.
The citizens of Rivers State are understandably worried about the stability of their region due to the disagreement between Governor Fubara and Minister Wike.
The state's future leadership has been the subject of much conjecture following loyalists' redeployment and subsequent resignations from the cabinet.
Many have voiced their desire for mediation and dialogue as a means to end the conflict amicably.
