In a recent statement via his official X account, Abdul-Aziz Nai'ibi Abubakar, the Director-General of Atiku's The Light Organization and a prominent figure in the People's Democratic Party (PDP), has made a statement urging Emeka Ihedioha to consider joining the Labour Party instead of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Abubakar expressed his opinion following Ihedioha's resignation from the PDP and as a result of circulating rumors of his readiness to join the APC.
"It would be more honorable for Emeka Ihedioha to join the Labour Party. I will never take him serious if he decided to join the Evil Party (APC)," Abubakar wrote.
Abubakar's remarks come as a result of speculations surrounding Ihedioha's potential political affiliation following his departure from the PDP.
Ihedioha, a former governor of Imo State, has been a prominent figure within the PDP, and his next political move has gained huge attention within Nigerian political circles.
The Labour Party, known for its advocacy for progressive policies and workers' rights, presents an alternative political platform for Ihedioha, according to Abubakar.
Meanwhile, his reference to the APC as the "Evil Party" underlines the deep-seated distrust between opposing political factions.
