Fubara, stop directing your frustration towards our party - PDP Chieftains

opera.com 2 days ago

According to Punch, Chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have criticized Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, for his recent verbal attack on the party. Two members of the PDP National Executive Committee, Timothy Osadolor and Diran Odeyemi, described Fubara's behavior as unfortunate and uncalled for.

Fubara had accused the PDP of failing the people of Rivers State by not speaking out against the political crisis in the state. However, the PDP NEC members pointed out that there are channels within the party to address grievances, and Fubara should not have publicly ridiculed the party.

Odeyemi, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary, urged Fubara to exercise caution and follow the party's constitution to resolve his issues, rather than destroying the party that made him who he is today. Osadolor, the PDP Deputy National Youth Leader, also criticized Fubara for not supporting the party in court cases and for not understanding the workings of the party's constitution.

The PDP chieftains warned Fubara against directing his frustration towards the party and advised him to use alternative methods to address his grievances. They emphasized that the party has done nothing but support Fubara, and his behavior is unfortunate and uncalled for.
