Israel will suffer if Biden or Trump wins US election – Fani-Kayode

Former Nigerian Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has issued a warning to Israel ahead of the United States, US, presidential election in November.

Fani-Kayode said, whoever wins the US presidential election between President Joe Biden or Donald Trump, Israel will suffer.

He noted that Israel will suffer for its alleged evil in Palestine and Gaza Strip.

Israel under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu, have been fighting Hamas terrorists group in the Gaza Strip and Palestine.

BREAKING: Senate passes NCDC bill

The Senate on Thursday, July 4, passed the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) bill.

The upper chamber passed the bill after considering the report of its committee on special duties, presented by its chairman, Senator Kaka Shehu.

The Bill was sponsored by the senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate.

Minority leader of the Senate, Senator Abba Moro, sponsored the bill and it was co-sponsored by all the senators from the north-central region.

The bill was passed First Reading on the 5th of October, 2023, and Second Reading on February 21, 2024.

EFCC protest: NOA mobilises 4000 staff to track promoters of violence

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Thursday, July 4 2024 said it has mobilised no fewer than 4000 staff to track promoters of violence in the country.

The agency in a statement by Paul Odenyi, deputy director of press, NOA said it has activated its civil intelligence network, ordering its 812 offices around the country to identify incident spots and individuals nationwide involved in the planned protest.

The statement reads: “This directive comes as the EFCC reported that certain individuals, especially those being investigated by the Commission, are mobilising youths, including school children, to stage a nationwide protest against the government.

“Director General of NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, also urged parents and well-meaning Nigerians to advise their wards against getting involved in the planned protest, saying the promoters of the uprising seek to destabilise the country and cut short investigation into their nefarious activities.

BREAKING: Edo guber: Court voids PDP primary election

A Federal High Court in Abuja, has declared as invalid the Peoples Democratic Party’s primary election that produced Asue Ighodalo as its governorship candidate.

The primary election conducted on February 22, 2024, was voided on the ground that 378 delegates, who were supposed to vote at the primary election were unlawfully excluded by PDP.

Justice Inyang Edem Ekwo, invalidated the primary election while delivering judgment in a suit instituted by the aggrieved delegates.

The suit marked THC/ABJ/CS/165/2024, was instituted by one Hon Kelvin Mohammed in a representative capacity.
