Good news for Arsenal as the club show firm interest in signing £34 million rated player.

Arsenal have expressed keen interest in signing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna this summer, according to reports from Tutto Juve.

The Gunners are aiming to bolster their squad significantly for the upcoming season but have yet to make any moves in the transfer market.

They are prioritizing a prolific goal-scorer, a midfielder to potentially replace the injury prone Thomas Partey, and a new defender, particularly targeting left footed options.

Calafiori, a versatile 22-year-old who can play both as a centre back and left back, has caught the attention of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Chelsea, in addition to Juventus.

Bologna is reportedly open to selling him for around £34 million, which Arsenal would need to meet to secure his services. Despite his recent involvement with Italy in the European Championship, where they have now been eliminated, negotiations could progress quickly now that he is available.

Known for his ball playing ability and defensive skills, Calafiori would be a significant addition to Arsenal's defensive lineup. However, competition from other clubs could complicate the deal.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal can successfully entice him to join the Emirates Stadium this transfer window.
