Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, a federal lawmaker, has spoken about an incident in Rivers State where a dynamite was detonated during a protest

Speaking in a video shared by TVC, Ikenga said if the person who carried the dynamite had been a supporter of Governor Fubara, the commissioner of police in Rivers or the Inspector General of Police (IGP) would have held press conferences to speak on the issue. He urged the authorities to find out who sent the man with the dynamite and what his true intentions were.

In Ikenga's words: "If it was a supporter of Fubara that had that dynamite, you would have seen press conferences by the commissioner of police there or by the IGP. Why have they not told us who sent that man with the dynamite and what was his real intention? Or is it because it is about Fubara nobody wants to do that?"
