Chinaza Nwaezere, a 26-year-old woman from Ebonyi State, bravely shared her story of battling goiter and resorting to hookup work to make ends meet. She recounted negotiating rates with clients, initially quoting M30,000 for a night and eventually settling for around N10,000. Nwaezere admitted feeling conflicted when she first started the hookup hustle in Enugu before relocating to Asaba, Delta State. Despite the challenges, she felt compelled to lie to her father about securing a job in Asaba. With excitement, her father told her to kneel for prayers.
According to what Chinaza Nwaezere said in the interview with Punch News, "It was around that period of my confusion that I was introduced to the ‘hustle’. I started hustling. I started hookup in Enugu but had to relocate to Asaba, Delta State. I didn’t work for up to one week before I relocated to Asaba. I had to lie to my dad that I had a job in Asaba. He was so happy. He told me to kneel, and he prayed for me before I left. He doesn’t really know what I am doing there. I can tell a man that a night with me is N30,000. They will beat it down to around N10,000. If it is okay with me, I will go with the man."
