The former senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has reacted after the National Assembly read the bill seeking the creation of Etiti State from the south east region of the country.
While reacting, Senator Shehu Sani made it known that creating another state in the south east region of the country is fair and just.
Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Tuesday afternoon, while reacting to the report.
Senator Shehu Sani wrote: "In reference to the Bill before the National Assembly, creating another state in the South East is fair and just."
It should be recalled that a bill seeking the creation of Etiti State in the South-East geo-political zone was today read for the first time on the floor of the House of Representatives during plenary.
The bill sponsored by five members of the House of Representatives, including Amobi Ogah, Miriam Onuoha, Kama Nkemkama, Chinwe Nnabuife and Anayo Onwuegbu, seeks the proposed state to be created out of the present Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo states.
