Kalonzo Musyoka asks president Ruto to call for a snap election.

The wiper leader Mr Kalonzo Musyoka has asked President William Ruto to sign into law the IEBC bill 2025 into law and call for a quick election.

"Kenyans have expressed their lack of confidence in this government and we ask the president to assent the bill into law to allow for the Kenyans Express the democratic rights by holding the leaders accountable. The MPs are even afraid of going to the Parliament given the events witnessed there, let him sign so that Kenyans can recall the MPs and recall for a snap election"said Mr Kalonzo.

Mr musyoka also blamed the government for state sponsoring goons will who in filtrated the peaceful protests causing laws of lives and destroyed properties.

"These were peaceful protest by Gen Z against the ruto government with genuine concerns but we have seen that the state sponsored violence and hiring of coons with an intent of damaging the reputation of protest"he also stated.

President Ruto had earlier bowed to pressure last week and withdrew the finance bill 2024 and was willing to hold a conversation with the young people to resolve the some of the issues they had raise through the protests which so far led to the death of more than 30 people and injured more than 200 Kenyans across the country.

The remarks made by Mr Kalonzo were shortly made after many azimio members who are in the parliament rejected the rise of salary amid the situations in the country.He also stated the they were asking azimio members to reject the raise of the salaries too and deal with the concerns of Kenyans.
