On 2nd July, 2024 the Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago Attended the Funeral Prayer of the Late Hajiya Zainab Garba, the wife to the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba at the Palace of the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Faruk Bahago in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.
According to a post made by the Office of the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Niger State - Bologi Ibrahim Via his Facebook account, the Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago along with the former Governor of Niger State and also the current Nigerian Senator representing Niger North Senatorial District, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello, member of the House of Representatives representing Chanchaga Federal Constituency, Speaker Niger State House of Assembly, Honorable AbdulMalik Sarkin Daji, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, the National Vice Chairman of the All Progressive Congress North Central, Mu'azu Bawa Rijau and other prominent people attended the Funeral Prayer of the wife to the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba at the Palace of the Emir of Minna in Minna, Niger State.
During his speech, the Governor of Niger State, Honorable Mohammed Umaru Bago prayed that may Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the Late Hajiya Zainab Garba and grant her Aljanna Firdaus.
