Alinur Mohamed alleged that thousands of Gen Z took the police by surprise when they occupied Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD). He stated that these young people had walked all the way from Kware in Mukuru Kwa Njenga to City Mortuary. According to Mohamed, the demonstrators were protesting under the slogan "#RutoMustGo."
The unexpected march, he said, caused significant disruption in the city center. Mohamed mentioned that the police did not anticipate such a large and organized group. He highlighted that the demonstrators were determined to make their voices heard and to demand changes.
