With a recent statement on his official X account, political activist and former South-West spokesman for the Obi/Datti Presidential campaign, Dele Farotimi, has stirred some controversy.
Farotimi, who is well-known for his candor and critical opinions on political matters, garnered a lot of attention when he contrasted Presidents Buhari and Tinubu's governments.
Farotimi compared the two regimes in his remarks, claiming that President Buhari's administration was more corrupt than President Tinubu's, and that President Tinubu's government has engaged in more immoral behavior than its predecessors.

According to him, "More was stolen under Buhari, and from all indications, the shareholders of Jagaban PLC have already eclipsed the venal brutality of their predecessors in power."
