Inko Tariah, a former Special Assistant to ex-Governor Nyesom Wike, has reacted after Governor Sim Fubara instructed the caretaker chairmen of the 23 LGAs in Rivers to operate from any location instead of moving into the council secretariats in the state.

In a video shared by Arise TV, Tariah said Governor Fubara was aware of the plans and plots of his detractors. He said if Fubara had insisted on the caretaker chairmen taking over the secretariats immediately, it could have led to violence and Fubara would have been blamed for it.

It would be recalled that the Rivers State Police Command took control of all 23 Local Government Council secretariats in the state to prevent further violence and maintain order during a crisis concerning the tenure of outgoing local government chairpersons

In Inko Tariah's words: "If Fubara had said "I am Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the state, move into that place" there would have been bloodbath in that place; and who would have taken the blame? The governor"
