Reactions as Trippier defends Gallagher's performance at the ongoing EURO 2024

Reactions have trailed the internet as Kieran Trippier in his latest interview defended Conor Gallagher's performance at the ongoing EURO tournament.

Gallagher often comes off the bench for England and he has not had his best game yet at the tournament. The Chelsea Star is among the England players who have faced criticism for performing poorly.

England are through to the quarter-finals of the tournament and will play Switzerland. Gallagher is expected to show his quality in that match if he is involved as Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden are ahead of him in team selection.

However, as gathered from Vince™ on X, Kieran Trippier in his recent interview defended Gallagher's performance at the Euros when he said: “You see Conor doing ‘doggies’ at the end. I don’t think people understand how important that is. He came off at half-time (in Cologne). But it showed his mentality to come on and run for the team, do the ugly stuff that people don’t really see."
