A Member Of Edo State Peoples Democratic Party Executive Council, Mr. Tony Okonigene has made it quite clear that his party aren't really bored or disturbed by the recent judgement made by the Federal High Court Judge Inyang Ekwo.
According to recent reports, Justice Inyang Ekwo in the Federal High Court Judge in Abuja made a judgement to invalidate the PDP primaries which brought out Asue Ighodalo as the Party's Edo State Governorship Candidate.
Mr. Tony Okonigene has boldly said that this judgement made by Justice Inyang Ekwo won't stand the test of time which is more reason why they aren't bothered by this recent developments. He claimed that Peoples Democratic Party are ready to respect the court's judgement for the mean time even though it is perceived by them as a minor distraction.
According to him, the Peoples Democratic Party were able to produce a competent candidate in Asue Ighodalo who has an enticing manifesto which they are presently looking to break down for the Edo people. He also revealed that they in the PDP saw this judgement coming from Justice Inyang Ekwo because he has made some questionable judgements against them in the past.
In a recent interview with Arise News Television on Sunday, he said: "We have a candidate and a deputy also with him that are the best that we produce for Edo State. We also have a candidate that has brought out a robust manifesto and what the PDP are concentrating on now is to educate the people on the manifesto of our party. I will like to advise the APC distractors like my candidate has said these are just distractions because if you have nothing to campaign with the only thing you will bring in are distractions and sometimes these distractions becomes more difficult to deal with than issue.
