The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, affirmed the commitment of the Armed Forces and other security agencies to maintaining peace and security across the nation during a visit to Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Government House in Jos on Monday.
General Musa urged Nigerians to cooperate with the military by exposing and reporting criminals to security agencies. Governor Mutfwang thanked President Bola Tinubu for his directives to restore peace in the state, which has led to a return of stability in previously troubled areas.
Accompanied by senior military officers, including the General Officer Commanding Three Division of the Nigerian Army and the commander of Operation Safe Haven, General Musa reviewed the progress made by security personnel in operational areas and reassured the public of the military's dedication to safeguarding the nation.
He emphasized that the cooperation and support of citizens are crucial for boosting troops' morale and effectively combating insecurity.
