Former Lagos State Labour Party governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has taken to social media to disclose that he dropped by at Mende Villa Estate in order for him to fathom what led to the demolition of such estate few days ago.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour who made such revelation through a video uploaded on his official Instagram account, could be seen in Mende Villa Estate, as he stated that;
"I visited Mende Villa Estate to understand the situation of things."
According to Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the resident of Mende Villa Estate were never given any notice of demolition and the canal has not been channelled by the Lagos State government when it was secured, adding that the government has been passionate about destroying homes in recent times without purging internal saboteurs and collaborators whose negligence enabled such homes to be built.
The businessman then asked the ruling APC party in Lagos State if the approval of successive governors in the state count for nothing, adding that his government will build a Lagos that works for all and not the government that destroys the dreams of people.
