PAOK FC, a Greek Super League club, has announced its squad list for the upcoming pre-season training camp in the Netherlands, and Super Eagles central defender William Troost-Ekong has been included in the list, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
Troost-Ekong's inclusion in the squad suggests that he has fully recovered from the injury that kept him out of action since February 2024. His performances earned him a spot in the Super Eagles squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, but he missed the recent matches against South Africa and Benin due to injury.
The defender's return to fitness will be a boost for both PAOK and the Super Eagles, as he is an important player for both teams.
