"You Are Wasting Your Time" - Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin Condemns Those Mocking Him And Pastor Chris

In a recent Facebook video, Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the senior pastor of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), issued a stern warning to those mocking him and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome after the recent fire incidents that struck their churches.

The fire at Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry occurred on March 21, 2023.

Prophet Fufeyin addressed the critical responses from some Christians, emphasizing that such incidents are allowed by God for promotion. “Those of you mocking us, you are wasting your time,” he stated firmly.

He reassured his followers by showcasing the land where a new, better church is being constructed, highlighting the preparations and progress made towards rebuilding.

In his video, Prophet Fufeyin stressed the importance of unity within the Christian community, describing the fire incidents as attacks on the body of Christ rather than isolated events.

"It is not Pastor Chris' church that got burnt, but the body of Christ," he declared, urging Christians to see the broader spiritual implications and to support one another during such trials.

Prophet Fufeyin criticized the negative reactions and speculations circulating online, often propagated by fellow Christians. He expressed his disappointment with the intra-faith criticism, pointing out the irony that most of the condemnation came from within the Christian community itself. “Majority of people who were condemning the man of God were Christians. You won’t see Muslims there,” he remarked.

Calling on Christian leaders—pastors, bishops, apostles, and evangelists—Fufeyin urged them to stand together and speak out against the negativity being spread. He expressed concern that such actions could discourage people exploring their faith and lead them to doubt the existence of God.

“I am angry with the body of Christ,” he stated, urging religious leaders to publicly defend Pastor Chris and show solidarity. “This fire incident is not just a blow to Pastor Chris but to the body of Christ,” he emphasized, calling for unity and support among Christian leaders.
