The executive Governor of Ogun state and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Prince Dapo Abiodun has reacted after he received a Distinguished Award for Security Delivery (State) at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS).
Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun stated on his verified Facebook page on Sunday; "At the State House Conference Centre in Abuja, we received a Distinguished Award for Security Delivery (State) at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service (NEAPS). The event was organised by The Best Strategic (TBS) Media in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation."
He added; "Our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, represented by the Vice President of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, presented the award to us in recognition of our pragmatic approach towards addressing security issues in Ogun State."
He stated further; "Our collective efforts have significantly enhanced the safety and well-being of our communities, showcasing our commitment to effective governance and innovative solutions in the face of security challenges."
Other who clinched the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service are General Abdulsalami Abubakar (Peace Building award); Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Abbas (Parliamentary Excellence award); Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila (Leadership and Administration award), and Deputy Chief of Staff to the President (Office of the Vice President), Senator Ibrahim Hadejia (Administrator par Excellence award) among others.
