Popular gospel actor and evangelist, Mike Bamiloye, has issued a stern warning to his followers about the dangers of worldly temptations in a recent post on his official Facebook page.
In his impassioned message, Bamiloye cautioned that those who harbor a love for the world in their hearts are in spiritual peril and in need of the deliverance that only the Cross of Christ can provide through the Spirit of God.
"Brothers and sisters, if the love of the world is in your heart, you have been conquered and require the deliverance of the Cross of Christ by the Spirit of God," Bamiloye wrote.
He stressed that a preoccupation with material wealth and earthly pleasures is a significant barrier to spiritual growth and divine empowerment.
Bamiloye emphasized that only those who resist the allure of silver and gold can be trusted with the power of Jesus' name. "Only those with heaven in their hearts can do kingdom work on earth," he stated, highlighting the importance of spiritual focus and purity for effective ministry.
He further explained that having one's eyes set on heavenly things is essential for fulfilling God's will on earth. "Only those with eyes on things above may echo the saintly petition—'thy kingdom come, thy will be done beneath, as it is above.' Only they can bind or loose on earth what is bound or loosed yonder."
