According to Daily Post Nigeria, Primate Elijah Ayodele, a well-known Nigerian clergyman well-known for his prophecies, has claimed that Tinubu will have a difficult and demanding road ahead of him should he choose to seek reelection.

The country's perception of the difficulties and obstacles facing the President is reflected in Ayodele's remarks.

Speaking on the controversial subject of state police, Primate Ayodele cautioned that the implementation of such a system would probably make Nigeria's security issues worse.

“State police will not help our nation, it will even add to the troubles of insecurity, and as a matter of fact, some politicians will use it as a weapon to cause disorderliness in our security. So let’s suspend the issue of State police for now, it’s not the best idea,” he asserted.

This viewpoint draws attention to the serious problems that exist regarding the decentralisation of police authority in a nation that is already facing serious security issues.

Nigeria's chronic and widespread problem of insecurity is caused by violent acts committed by rebel groups, robbers, and other criminal elements in different locations.

The idea of creating state police forces have been divided; while some think it may boost local accountability and effectiveness, others worry it could encourage local politicians to misuse their positions of authority and further destabilise the nation.

The latter worry is emphasised by Primate Ayodele's remarks, which imply that such a step could be unwise given the current circumstances.

Primate Ayodele discussed President Tinubu's personal struggles, notably those related to his health, in addition to the security concerns.

“Tinubu will have a very tough and challenging time going for a second term. There will be so much pressure on him and he needs to look after his health,” he stated.

The public has been discussing President Tinubu's health and well-being, with many wondering if he can handle the physical and psychological strain of serving another term in office.

The demands of the president are tremendous, and any leader may suffer a great deal from the added stress of a re-election campaign.
