Katsina gov urges Muslims to pray for security

According to reports on PUNCH, Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has called on Muslims across the state to seek divine wisdom and strength to combat the prevailing insecurity in the region.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, Governor Radda extended warm felicitations to Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Hijira 1446 AH, marking the Islamic New Year.

Reflecting on the significance of Hijira, the governor emphasized the lessons of perseverance, sacrifice, and unity demonstrated by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during his migration from Makkah to Madinah.

"I implore all citizens to use this special occasion to offer fervent prayers for Katsina State," Governor Radda stated, acknowledging the power of collective prayer and action in addressing security challenges.

Highlighting the importance of community vigilance and cooperation with security agencies, Governor Radda underscored the need for unity and collective effort in the fight against insecurity.
