Femi Lawson, a public affairs analyst, in an exclusive interview on TVC News, indicated that in the past, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim has shown himself more as a political merchant than an active politician.

Recall that Senator Ibrahim, representing Ondo South, called for the cancellation of the Ondo APC primary election that produced Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, calling it a mega fraud.

During the interview, Lawson said, "For me, as someone from the state, precisely from the same Senatorial District as Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, it is not alien to me whatever he is doing now.

He further added that "for people who have followed his political style from 1998, 1999, 2003, and subsequent elections, we see him more as a political merchant than an active politician because for every election, Sen. Ibrahim will always come to participate and to trade and make gains personally for himself out of the outcome of such processes.
