South Africa's opposition leader and founder of the Economic Freedom Fighters party Hon Julius Malema has said hag soon the people will be going to the streets to picket against the newly formed government.

In a post he shared on his X page, Malema said that picketing is part of the theatre in politics and the people shall exercise their rights accordingly. He accused the new government of being betrayers and said that the current generation can not be part of it in any way

"The streets are calling; picket lines are part of the theatre of politics. Our generation can't be part of the betrayal of generations before us, now or never." Malema said.

This call by Malema for the South African people to hit the streets comes barely two weeks after the Kenyan Gen Z started a revolution to kick out president William Ruto from office. They accused him if failing this country. Malema was among the leaders that congratulated the Kenyan youth for their stand and promised to support them.

Malema has been against the newly formed government of South Africa that is barely one month in office. Cyril Ramaphosa's party was forced to form a coalition government with the DA party after his party failed to attain the 50+1 minimum ballot count.
