The Joint admission and matriculation board (JAMB) has given a fresh update on the conversation of UTME to DE, following the rumours of the commencement of conversion. The board said it will announce the date for the commencement of the UTME to DE conversion as opposed to the earlier rumour.The board sent messages to 2024 candidates who want to convert their registration to Direct Entry, that it will announce the date as soon as it commences. The board via it official handle on Twitter now known as X, @JAMBHQ. saying:
"please be aware that the conversation of UTME to DE has not started, the commencement date will be communicated soon".
The board urges their 2024 candidates and prospective candidates to discard any news on the conversion or its commencement from any other source if not From the board and that it promises to make it as soon as it can.
