Former Senator Shehu Sani has commented on a recent visit by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and other political figures to former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura.

In a report recently published by The Sun, Sani suggested that Atiku's visit to Buhari was more than a cordial meeting. He claimed that Northern political leaders are attempting to leverage Buhari's influence to consolidate Northern voters. Their objective, according to Sani, is to challenge and unseat President Tinubu in the 2027 elections. These leaders aim to reintegrate Buhari into the political arena to utilize his popularity in garnering Northern support and spearheading a campaign against Tinubu.

Sani emphasized that the Northern political elite are increasingly desperate and intend to rally behind Buhari, reviving and promoting him to ensure he leads a movement to remove Tinubu from power.
