In a candid interview on Arise TV, the Labour Party Factional's National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi refuted allegations that he is working for President Bola Tinubu, clarifying that he has never met him and only know his wife due to their shared attendance at the same church.
He denied any connections with Tinubu or the APC that could substantiate claims of collaboration to destabilize the Labour Party.
He challenged those making such accusations to provide evidence supporting their claims rather than making baseless statements in the public sphere.
He said, "Why are they coming with the notion that we are working for Tinubu? I have never met the President (Bola Tinubu), I only know the wife of Tinubu because we attend the same Church. I have never met the President because we don't have any connection with him. We don't know anybody there that they will say they were the ones that were working with the APC to destabilize Labour Party. They should be able to subjugate the claim, not just coming into public space and open their mouth to say whatever they want."
