What took many surprised was when members of the Reece Squad stormed into one of the buildings in the Nairobi Central Business District where they flushed out a suspected sniper who was shooting at police officers who were engaging protesters.

According to reliable sources, the suspected sniper was situated on Hamburg House along the Tom Mboya Street shot a police officer, prompting special operation that was launched to flush him out of his hiding on the second floor of the building.

According to the videos that were shared on different social media platforms, the Reece Squad pitted tent at the building for a while and once he was captured, he was whisked away for interrogation from relevant state agencies in the security sector.
