The candidate of the Labour Party, LP in the Lagos state 2023 governorship election, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour has reacted after he watched a video of some people in the United Arab Emirates, UAE, paying the sum of $100 just to cross a street after a heavy rainfall.
In the viral video that was shared online, a man was seen wheeling those interested in crossing from one side of the road to another side after which payment is made.

Reacting after watching the video, Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour said he may not have all the answers to all the problems, but he will never make juvenile excuses if he is elected. He said he will never mock citizens who have lost their loved ones and property to a flood.
Here is what Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour wrote on his official page;
"I promise you that we may not have all the answers to all the problems, but when we get elected, we will never make juvenile excuses. We will never pass the buck and will never mock citizens who have lost loved ones and property to a flood. Never!".
