On 30th June, 2024 the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) in a statement released by the National Publicity Secretary of the coalition, Mark Adebayo while reacting to the recent suicide bomb blast at Gwoza Local Government Area that claimed the lives of more than twenty people and left many others injured, revealed that the administration of the President of Nigeria, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu lacks any real strategic security plans to protect the good citizens of the country, and save the country from terrorists who have grown to disdain the country's security forces overtime.
According to Sahara Reporters, the National Publicity Secretary of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), Mark Adebayo said "Over the years, it has become clear that the war against terror has been compromised by all those involved in dealing with the menace. The corruption enterprise surrounding the war efforts and absence of creative ideas on the part of the government and the consistent failure of intelligence have contributed significantly to strengthening of the various terrorist groups terrorizing the country for about two decades now. This government lacks any real strategic security plans to protect the citizens and save the country from these terrorists who have grown to disdain our security forces over time."
Mark Adebayo commiserated with the people of Borno State, especially the good people of the Gwoza Local Government Area and the families of the victims of the recent suicide bomb blast that claimed the lives of more than twenty people and left many others injured. He also prayed that may the gentle souls of the people who lost their lives in the incident rest in perfect peace.
