Chelsea FC is actively pursuing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, one of Europe's most feared marksmen, to strengthen their attack ahead of the new Premier League season. Despite having two years left on his contract with Napoli, Osimhen's departure seems increasingly likely, with Napoli's manager Antonio Conte revealing that an "agreement" is in place for the striker to leave the Serie A club this summer.

Chelsea, who have already made significant signings this summer, including Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Renato Veiga, is willing to offer two players on loan to Napoli as part of the deal. Cesare Casadei and Romelu Lukaku, both currently on Chelsea's books, are being offered to Napoli in an attempt to negotiate a lower transfer fee for Osimhen, whose release clause is set at a staggering £113m.

The Blues are eager to find a more reliable goal-scorer, as Nicolas Jackson's debut season was marked by several high-profile misses. Osimhen's impressive goal-scoring record and physical presence make him an attractive option for Chelsea, who hope to make progress on the deal soon. However, Napoli's willingness to accept the offered players remains uncertain, and the deal's outcome hangs in the balance.
