Group stage for next season UEFA Champions League is already taking shape as 17 clubs have already qualified across Europe.
The UEFA Champions League is by far the most prestigious and the big gist competition at club level. It is a competition that so many clubs want to take part in and we shall be taking a look at the clubs that has already made it through the to the group stage next season.
1) ARSENAL: Arsenal will be in this competition for the second year in a role having previously missed out on it even before Arsene Wenger left the club about 8 years ago. The Gunners are topping the English Premier League table but have played one game more than City. They currently sit on top with 83 points.
2) MAN CITY: Last season Champions league winnners will have the opportunity to go again for the trophy next season, having exited this season competition at the hands of Real Madrid. They have 82 league points in EPL.
3) LIVERPOOL: The Reds sit third in the EPL standing. With 78 points to their name, no team can push them away from qualifying for next season's UCL competition.
4) REAL MADRID: The biggest club in the competition never fails to be here and they have done it again. Winning the La Liga, already in the UCL semifinal and have also secured their place in the competition for next season.
5) GIRONA: A surprise for us all, but their 73 points mean they have qualified. We will see what they can do next season.
6) BARCELONA: Though they have been poor at times, they have proven they have what it takes to put their time away from the competition behind them and qualify on a regular basis.
7) BAYER LEVERKUSEN: This guys are unbelievably wonderful. They will surely cause problems for a lot of teams next season.
8) BAYERN MUNICH: Already in the semifinal of this season's UCL competition. With 69 points earned in the German Bundesliga, they have now qualified for next season UCL.
9) STUTTGART: Another surprise ahead of next season. Let's hope they make the experience worthwhile.
10) RB LEIPZIG: With 60 points, the German side will be returning again next season. They are always a delight.
11) BORUSSIA DORTMUND: This is the fifth German club in this list and they have earned their place. Already, they are in the semifinal of this season's UCL and hopefully they can reach the final and win it for club captain Marco Reus, who has announced his departure from the club at the end of the current season.
12) INTER MILAN: The Italian champions have also qualified for next season's competition and hopefully they would do better than they did this season.
