According to Tribune News, Sule Kwasau, the national chairman of the Association of Middle Belt Ethnic Nationalities, called for shared sacrifice across all sectors of society, including the executive branch.

He emphasized that the burden should not be exclusively borne by the general population.

He emphasized the government's wasteful practices, citing an excessive number of ministers and vehicles allocated to them.

Additionally, he highlighted inefficient police resource allocation, noting instances where officers are assigned to politically connected individuals who are not government officials, diverting public funds.

In Sule Kwasau's words, he said, "Once there is a call for sacrifice, I think it should run across the board. It should not only be the masses that should tighten their belts but even the executives. The way we run our government in this country, there is so much waste, and that is the truth. You (Tinubu) don’t need this number of ministers, and you don’t need this number of vehicles attached to ministers. Look at even the shortage we have in the police force."
