According to a report by Punch. The Nigerian Army is a wonderful career, and Lieutenant-General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, has encouraged young people in Nigeria to think about pursuing it.
This was said by the Army Chief in a speech given at Headquarters 8 Division's Nigerian Army Day Celebration 2024, where the Division engaged in a public speaking session with students from Sani Dinyadi Unity Secondary School in Sokoto.
The Nigerian Army used the public speaking exercise, which was held on Tuesday, July 2nd in a few chosen schools around the nation, as a platform to inform and inspire students about the opportunities available to them in the Army, as well as the accomplishments and positive contributions the NA has made while serving our beloved country.
Lagbaja, in his remarks, said, “The engagement was part of the Army’s ways of creating unique opportunities for students to interact with personnel of the Nigerian Army."
