Fubara: On Street Of Rivers, Everyone Is Saying That Gov And Former Gov Are Quarreling - Orji Kalu

On 26th June, 2024 the former Governor of Abia State and also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatisation and Commercialisation, Senator Orji Uzo Kalu while speaking during a courtesy visit to the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara at the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt, revealed that on the street of Rivers State, the good people of the State were saying that Governor Fubara and the former of the State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike were quarrelling.

According to a post made by Secretary to the Rivers State Governor Via his Facebook account, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Privatisation and Commercialisation, Senator Orji Uzo Kalu said "We commend you for what you are doing for the people of your State. I will continue to ask you to focus on the job. Leadership is a very big burden. It is not a sweet potato. It is not anywhere where you can see rice and beans. On the street of Rivers, everyone is saying that the Governor and the former Governor are quarreling. We want to plead with you, continue to be holding your people back because if your people demonstrate like the other people, we will have a state of anarchy, and it is not good to have anarchy. I want to plead with you to abide by the rules of the land. I plead with you to abide by what the Constitution says."

The former Governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Uzo Kalu commended the Governor of Rivers, Sir Siminalayi Fubara for all the good things he has been doing toward the progress and development of the State. He also urged him to embrace in the ongoing political crisis in the because there was nothing like peace.
