Hon. Teresia Mbaika, the Principal Secretary of the State Department of Devolution, has issued a poignant call to action, urging the youth to shun these destructive acts that threaten to erode the progress and stability of Devolution.
On her statement, PS Mbaika has said that the deliberate burning of County Government facilities strikes at the core of Devolution, jeopardizing the autonomy and efficiency of local governance structures. "Such actions not only inflict physical damage but also sow seeds of discord and chaos that can impede the effective functioning of Devolution," she added
Further the PS has called on the Youth to channel their grievances through peaceful and constructive avenues that foster dialogue and progress
"The gains achieved in fortifying Devolution must be safeguarded at all costs. By desisting from acts of violence and destruction, the youth can actively contribute to preserving and advancing the principles of Devolution. It is imperative to channel grievances through peaceful and constructive avenues that foster dialogue and progress," she stated
