Mike Sonko, former Nairobi Governor, has a accused a famous activist of allegedly ferrying coffins to Nairobi CBD during yesterday's protests.
Sonko has shared this information through his X account after being accussed of sponsoring goons to tarnish peaceful demonstrations.
"I have seen kuna watu, who like tarnishing my name by spreading cheap propaganda and lies with their fake intelligence ati I was the one who organised for the goons to loot in CBD na coffins to be brought to the CBD as well.
Here is the correct intelligence: The coffins were purchased within the city. They were ferried to the CBD in a blue canter. Some known activists, one of them, my biggest enemy, was even captured live on camera carrying the said coffins.
On the issue of goons looting, I think all the premises within the CBD and the entire CBD itself in general ziko highly under cctv surveillance which will be easy for DCI to get the images and footages of the goons who were looting today and during all the previous peaceful protests." Sonko wrote
