According to The Nation, Renowned gospel music minister, Evangelist Ojo Ade, has affirmed that only God can save Nigeria from famine and its current economic crisis.
He made this assertion while preaching at the ongoing 5-day power packed vigil Tagged: “Power Of Your Dream” in his church, Christ Gift Revival Ministries, Dalemo-Alakuko, Lagos State.
He called on Christians and other Nigerians to return to God, saying only him can save Nigeria from its current state.
He said that everyone needs to let go of his or her sinful deeds from the leaders to the followers.
"I produced a record in 1986, saying that until we return to God, before we obtain deliverance, if we believe in troops, we are lying, if we believe in government, we are misleading ourselves," he declared.
Nigerians love their religion, so if we as a country want to overcome this struggle, we must all turn back to God.
I think that God would save us if we repent of our sins and forget about the church or mosque.
The yearly Power of Your Dream programme has been going strong for more than 15 years, and it continues to grow as God continues to show off his strength via miracles and the salvation of lives.
"God has proven himself mighty by miracles, signs, and wonders. Yesterday, we videotaped a deaf and dumb guy receiving his recovery, and so many more miracles. God has been gracious to us," the pastor said.
We have been doing the Power of Your Dream programme at this church for over 15 years." Beginning on July 1st and lasting through Friday, July 5th, the five-day vigil will conclude with a revival service and church celebration on Sunday, July 7th in the church auditorium.
