Nigerian Military Says Troops Recovered 170 Assorted Rifles From Terrorists In One Week

The Nigerian military announced the recovery of 170 assorted rifles and the neutralization of 177 terrorists in a week. Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, reported 263 arrests, including 41 for oil theft, and the rescue of 158 hostages. Additionally, troops prevented oil theft worth N501,089,400 and seized 4,692 rounds of assorted ammunition. The military's operations spanned various regions, demonstrating a significant crackdown on criminal activities.
