FCT High Court to Gain 12 New Judges in July 10 Swearing-In Ceremony

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, is set to swear in twelve newly appointed judges of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory on Wednesday, July 10, CHANNELS TELEVISION reported.

According to a statement by the Director of Press and Information of the Supreme Court, Dr. Festus Akande, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Main Courtroom of the Supreme Court of Nigeria at 10:00 a.m..

The newly appointed judges represent a diverse group from various states across the country. They include:

1. Justice Buetnaan Mandy Bassi from Plateau State

2. Justice Ademuyiwa Olakunle Oyeyipo from Kwara State

3. Justice Bamodu Odunayo Olutomi from Lagos State

4. Justice Iheabunike Anumaenwe Godwin from Imo State

5. Justice Odo Celestine Obinna from Enugu State

6. Justice Hauwa Lawal Gummi from Zamfara State

7. Justice Sarah Benjamin Inesu Avoh from Bayelsa State

8. Justice Maryam Iye Yusuf from Kogi State

9. Justice Ariwoola Oluwakemi Victoria from Oyo State

10. Justice Lesley Nkesi Belema Wike from Rivers State

11. Justice Ibrahim Tanko Munirat from Bauchi State

12. Justice Abdulrahman Usman from Taraba State
